We started as a mission church sent by the Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County (CBCOC) in Anaheim to reach more Cantonese-speaking Chinese in the southern parts of Orange County. From beginning as a humble place of worship to having the biggest community of Chinese-American believers, the growth of our church would not have been possible without the grace of our Lord.
1991 Planning of a mission church in Irvine
CBCOC was led to vision in January 1991, following its annual church planning conference.
Ten families and eighty people were sent by the Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County (CBCOC) in Anaheim to establish a mission church with the goal to reach more Cantonese-speaking Chinese in the southern parts of Orange County. 1992 Rented a temporary location
1993 The Church on Red Hill our temporary location in Tustin
In April of 1992, The Church on Red Hill in Tustin, California offered to host our mission church. Rev. James Chiu who founded CBCOC, as well as the senior pastor at that time, volunteered to become senior pastor of the mission church.
A group of people were sent down to Tustin to visit a temporary location for rent.

In January 1993 a bilingual service Cantonese and English was establish together with Sunday School classes, Music & Worship Ministry, Children Ministry and Youth Ministry.
Recognizing Our Independence
In July 1993, the mission church became the Chinese Baptist Church of Central Orange County (CBCCOC) and is operationally independent of CBCOC, the Anaheim mother church.
1997 Purchased a Land
God provided a new 116,087 square feet lot in the Northwood Community in the city of Irvine.

1998 Phase I Construction
The start of construction begin in November 1998 - completion in November 2000 Fellowship Hall, Kitchen, Library, Children Center, 2 Classrooms, Tower and 181 Parking Lot.
2000 Completion of Fellowship Hall
Our Fellowship Hall is a multi-purpose space used for Sunday worships, Sunday lunch gatherings, events, children classroom, fellowship activities, ping pong and meeting room.
2000 Moved from Tustin to Irvine
April 29, 2000 moving day.
After more than 7 years renting, we finally moved to our new location in Irvine.
2000 Inaugural Worship in Irvine
On Sunday, May 7, 2000 the first bilingual Cantonese and English worship begun at our new campus outdoor.
2001 Phase II Ground Breaking
With God's continuous provision we are able to proceed to our 7,122 square feet Phase II plans for more educational class rooms and pastoral staff offices.
Completion of Phase I and Phase II
In 2000 total Phase I was completed and 2003 Phase II was completed.
2013 Completion of Phase III
"Building for God's Glory" is completed.
The construction period was from April 2008 – July 2013.
