My beloved CBCCOC,
"an atmosphere people advance God’s kingdom and around the globe"
Last week, we talked about the first core value. This week, I want to talk about the second one. When people come to our church, I hope that this is what they will find. CBCCOC has an atmosphere people advance God’s kingdom and around the globe.
Christianity Today recently had published an article talking about people nowadays because of what happened in the world are searching for a church in their community. They are searching for hope when they cannot see what the future holds. They are searching for love when they see the nation, or people are divided. They are searching for faith when they need help. Then, the article talks about are we as the church ready to be found?
I believe this is an unprecedented time, especially for the church ministry. We can either like the rest of the business are being forced to close to do nothing, or we see this is the opportunity God has given us we need to go out and be ready to be found.
Matthew 5:13-16 said, we are the salt of the earth, and we are the light of the world. We are meant to be useful not only we are built in a community that gives light to everyone in the house, but also, we should advance his kingdom around the globe.
The question is, are we ready to be found? Are we ready to go?

“一種推動著上帝國度的氣氛遍及全球”
上週，我們談到了第一個核心價值。這週，我想談談第二個。當人們來到我們的教會時，我希望這是他們會發現的。 CBCCOC有推動著上帝的國度遍及全球的氣氛。
《今日基督徒》雜誌，最近發表了一篇文章，這篇文章談論當今的世人，原因是這世界發生了一些事情，就是人們在他們的社區中尋找教會。他們尋找希望是因爲當他們看不到未來。他們尋找愛情是因爲當他們看到國家或人們在分裂。他們尋求信仰是因爲他們需要幫助。然後，本文章討論了作為教會的，究竟我們準備好我們會被人尋見嗎？
我相信這是前所未有的時代，尤其是對於教會事工而言。我們要像其他行業一樣被迫關閉而無所作爲嗎？或是我們看到這是上帝賦予我們的機會呢？我們需要走出去並準備好我們將會被人尋見。
馬太福音5：13-16說，13 “你們是地上的鹽；如果鹽失了味，怎能使它再鹹呢？結果毫無用處，唯有丟在外面任人踐踏。 14 你們是世上的光。建在山上的城是無法隱藏的； 15 人點了燈，不會放在量器底下，而是放在燈臺上，就照亮一家人。 16 照樣，你們的光也應當照在人前，讓他們看見你們的好行為，又頌讚你們在天上的父。
問題是，我們準備好我們會被人尋見嗎？我們準備好出發嗎？
